In Prescott Valley on Tuesday, January 23rd, The Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona, Fain Family Foundation Branch celebrated their ribbon cutting for their clubhouse remodel. The clubhouse received a total makeover in flooring, painting, furniture and much more.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arizona (BGCCAZ) are an essential community resource for children, parents, and families.
BGCCAZ.org states that, “We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for youth age 6-18 in the Northern Arizona area. Our local clubs are continuously evolving to meet the needs of our community youth and their families. Programs are designed to change the lives of young people in three priority areas: academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyle.”
The Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona extended a thank you for all the partners and support provided to make the club remodel possible. They went on to thank the Fain Family as well as the Town of Prescott Valley and Prescott who helped make the expansion possible.
“With much gratitude we celebrate the ribbon cutting of our remodeled Prescott Valley Clubhouse – Fain Family Branch. This project is a milestone for our community, as it improves after-school and summer programming opportunities for our local youth. We honor all partners who believed, supported, and joined us in this journey. It is thanks to your commitment that so much was accomplished for our PV youth,” said BGCCAZ.
The Fain Family Foundation, one of many sponsors who contribute to supporting our community’s youth in a variety of ways was represented by Ron and Nancy Fain.
Ron Fain explained, “The Fain Family is grateful for the Boys and Girls Clubs continuous investment in our youth by providing leadership and guidance and for always being an available resource to the community. “
In attendance at the Grand Opening were Mayor Kell Palguta, Vice Mayor Lori Hunt, Prescott Valley Council Members, Town Manager Gilbert Davidson, other members of Town Staff, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona Alex Heinemann, Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Marnie Uhl, Nancy Fain, Ron Fain, Talking Glass Media, and others community members.
