A special screening of Only the Brave will take place on Saturday, June 27, at 6:30 p.m. during the Summer Music Festival in Prescott Valley. Tickets are $6 each at Harkins in Prescott Valley, with proceeds benefiting the Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters.

Released in 2017, Only the Brave tells the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, the elite Prescott-based wildfire crew that lost 19 members while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. The film stars Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, and Jeff Bridges and chronicles the team’s dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting communities across Arizona.

The fundraiser screening offers residents and visitors an opportunity to honor the legacy of the Granite Mountain Hotshots while helping support the mission of the Eric Marsh Foundation. Named after Granite Mountain HotshotsSuperintendent Eric Marsh, the foundation works to support wildland firefighters and their families through scholarships, assistance programs and other initiatives.
