December 2018, Prescott Police Chief Deborah Black and Prescott Valley Police Chief Bryan Jarrell accepted donations in the amount of $15,000.00 from Brad Fain, CEO, Fain Signature Group, organizer of the 2nd annual Talking Glass Shop with a Cop Fundraiser. The annual Prescott Valley based fundraiser rallies businesses in the region to participate in donating to the annual Shop with a Cop event, which provides young people with a first good experience with a law enforcement officer while also helping out kids and their families in need.
Prescott Chief of Police Debora Black said. “It wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our community and our business partners in the community.”
Prescott Valley Police Chief Bryan Jarrell agrees, “It’s a great example of partnership and we appreciate it very much.”
“Over the past few weeks, the team at Fain Signature Group had a wonderful experience witnessing other community partners come forward to participate and support this effort. Dozens of businesses and organizations joined in to make our 2nd Annual Talking Glass Shop with a Cop Fundraiser more than twice as successful as last year. In 2017, our community partners raised $7,100. This year our community came together, raising just over $15,000.00 This is a great testament to both the generosity of our entire community as well as the wonderful work of our Police Departments,“ says Brad Fain.
Fain Signature Group was joined by dozens of businesses throughout the region, including the Yavapai County Contractors Association (YCCA) and its Executive Director, Sandy Griffis. Griffis rallied the YCCA’s member companies, representing hundreds of licensed contractors throughout Yavapai County. Within days, Griffis and the YCCA raised just over $6,000 for the 2nd Annual Talking Glass Shop with a Cop Fundraiser.
