Prescott Valley welcomed a new grocery shopping option on Thursday, October 15, 2026, as ALDI officially opened its doors along Glassford Hill Road. The grand opening drew a crowd of eager shoppers, with a line stretching toward the store’s entrance as customers waited to explore the new location.
Located in the Kohl’s shopping center between Kohl’s and Walmart, the new ALDI celebrated its arrival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the official store opening at 9:00 a.m.
The first 200 customers were offered goodie bags filled with ALDI merchandise and groceries as part of the grand opening celebration.
The opening marks the national grocery chain’s arrival in Prescott Valley, bringing another grocery option to the community and expanding the selection of businesses along the Glassford Hill Road corridor.
ALDI is known for its streamlined grocery shopping experience, offering fresh produce, meat and seafood, pantry staples, household essentials and a variety of ALDI-exclusive brands.
The Prescott Valley opening is part of ALDI’s continued expansion across the United States. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to open more than 180 new stores across 31 states in 2026, with expectations of operating nearly 2,800 stores nationwide by the end of the year.
