Ron Fain, organizer of The 100 Men Who Care of Northern Arizona, is calling out to members of the philanthropic group to make their individual $100 donations to the Yavapai County Food Bank for the organization’s fourth giving event. 100 Men Who Care is a group of 100+ men who gather quarterly to choose a non-profit in the region. Each man gives $100 to the selected non-profit. To date, over $8,500 per event has been raised and over $25,000 total to date.
“Over the past 9 months the organization has raised over $25,000 and we are not going to allow the COVID crisis halt our progress in giving back. We reached out to a number of individuals and leadership within the community and all of them were telling us the same thing: “Find a local food bank that has been impacted. Many of our non-profits in the region are being crushed by this and the food banks are getting hit hard,” says Fain.
“Since we couldn’t plan a large gathering due to the COVID concerns, a call-to-action to the membership makes sense. This is a great opportunity to continue the work of giving back to the organizations that continue to make a difference in our communities. I am asking all members to send their $100 donation to:
