Construction has officially begun on a new ALDI grocery store in Prescott Valley, marking a milestone for the project first announced last year. The national discount supermarket chain is building its first local location along Glassford Hill Road in the downtown Prescott Valley area, between Kohl’s and Walmart.

The start of construction represents continued collaboration between ALDI, the Town of Prescott Valley, and community-building partners like Fain Signature Group. With site work now underway, Aldi is moving from planning to construction and signaling continued retail solutions in the community.
The new ALDI store will add to a growing list of businesses in the downtown area, helping strengthen Prescott Valley’s retail core and expanding everyday shopping options for residents. Community leaders and builders have emphasized the importance of increasing access to grocery options as the Town continues to mature.

ALDI is widely known for its low-cost grocery model and efficient store design. The company operates more than 2,400 locations across the United States and continues expanding into growing markets like Prescott Valley, Arizona.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, visible construction activity indicates steady progress. Once completed, the store is expected to provide new employment opportunities and improved access to affordable groceries for area residents.
