During the week of April 15, 2024, Brad Fain, President and CEO of Prescott Valley’s Fain Signature Group provided the first post fire progress report on the Legado Apartments fire site. This week, Fain Signature Group has announced plans to demo the remaining towers standing since the Legado Apartments burned down in the early morning hours of April 01, due to arson as reported by law enforcement officials.
“As promised, we are happy to report continued progress in moving forward with the demolition of the remaining towers and structure that still stand at the Legado Apartments fire site. In collaboration with our insurance adjusters and business consultants, we interviewed multiple demolition contractors. The selection process has been completed and our demolition contractor is scheduled to begin mobilizing the week of April 29,” says Fain.
As mentioned in FSG’s first Legado Apartments fire site update, taking down the remaining towers and structure is essential in working with the Town of Prescott Valley to reopen Florentine, Main, and Park. “Our focus continues to be the safety of our community as we work diligently with our partners and the Town to clean up the site and reopen the adjacent roads,” continues Fain.
