Cottonwood’s Groseta Ranch Road Ribbon Cutting

On April 24th, Fain Signature Group, the City of Cottonwood, and the Greater Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Groseta Ranch Road in Cottonwood, Arizona. The road is expected to be open to traffic flow by the end of the month.

Groseta Ranch Road will be a vital addition to Cottonwood, Historic Old Town, and Clarkdale. Ron Sauntman, City of Cottonwood Fire Department Chief, explains the scope of the increased access for emergency services Groseta Ranch Road will allow,

“The development of Groseta Ranch Road is incredibly beneficial for the community and the responders in the City of Cottonwood. From a fire response perspective, this road will allow for timely transition between areas that traditionally required extended response times…Previously, if a fire unit was working off the 89A corridor and needed to respond to the Old Town area, the response was hindered due to the travel time of driving around, this allows for a faster response and less geography to transition. Additionally, during event planning/management this alternate access allows for better response to an incident that may occur during an event in Cottonwood.”

Fire Chief Sauntman continues declaring, “Time is everything in the response environment, and seconds matter when emergency help is needed. This access will be a huge benefit for the response to emergencies in the City of Cottonwood.”

Remarks were given at the ribbon-cutting event by Brad Fain, Andy Groseta, KJ Kasun, and Cottonwood Mayor Tim Elinski. Mayor Tim Elinski proclaimed his appreciation for the willingness of developers to work in collaboration with the City of Cottonwood to provide pivotal roads such as this one for the community.

“I was proud to attend the ribbon cutting of the new Groseta Ranch Road alongside Fain Signature Group, Mr. KJ Kasun, and extended members of the Groseta Family. This new road is the result of a great partnership between all parties and will serve Cottonwood and Clarkdale residents well, providing a much-needed alternate route through our communities. I wish to offer my appreciation to the developers whose hard work brought this project to fruition,” says Mayor Elinski.

Fain Signature Group also thanks the partnership between the City of Cottonwood, the Vineyards, and the Groseta Family for the collaboration that occurred in the creation of Groseta Ranch Road. The road will be officially open to traffic by the end of the month and further updates are to come.
