DESCRIPTION:Welcome to an immersive experience like never before! A twist on the classic haunted house experience– this immersive Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) House will take you through a series of photo ops\, intricate displays\, and life-like animations. The experience celebrates the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) holiday which occurs annually on November 2nd. \nThe display will be available October 24th – 26th and October 31st – November 2nd each evening from 4PM – 10PM. \nThere will be a Grand Opening Event on October 24th. \nThe last night of the exhibit will be on November 2nd during the Día de los Muertos celebration event. NO OPEN FLAMES.\nMust not exceed x feet wide\, x feet long and x feet high\nParticipants must provide their own table and materials for their altar\nAltars must be free-standing. You will not be able to attach to walls.\nOrganic materials (plants\, food offerings) are acceptable. Alcohol is not allowed.\nOffensive materials such as explicit or demeaning\, racist\, and promotion of crime\, cruelty\, and violence will not be accepted and will be removed.\nElectricity will not be provided\nAfter removal\, all traces must be cleared of the space and left in the condition it was found in. \nContest Details: \nInstallation will occur between 8am and 1pm on November 2\nJudging will occur at 2:30pm\, only altars completed by 1pm will be considered\nAnnouncement of the winner will occur at the Ofrendas at 5pm\nBreak-down\, clean-up\, and removal will occur after the winner is announced and must be completely clear by 10pm\nAltars are judged on overall appearance\, originality\, and creativity reference to traditions of Dia de los Muertos. \nSuggestions for Creating Your Altar: \nOne of the key elements of Dia de los Muertos revolves around ofrendas\, or offerings\, which are created through a visual display of altar-making and grave decorating. The offerings\, a main focal point of the observance\, echo the dedication and distinct love that is presented toward the dearly departed. Altars can be created through a wide spectrum of dedications\, depending on one’s creative desire. The altar includes the four main elements of nature -Earth\, Wind\, Water\, and Fire. \nEarth is represented by the crop: The soul is fed by the various earthly aromas. Placing fruit or favorite family dishes on the altar provides nourishment for rthe beloved souls.\nWind is represented by a moving object: Paper-Mache is commonly utilized to represent the echoes of the wind. \nWater is place in a container for the soul to quench its thirst after the long-awaited journey to the altar. Water is also used for the means of purification. \nFire is represented by a wax candle. Each candle represents a loving soul\, and an extra one is placed for the forgotten soul. (No lit candles)\nCopal-Incense burned to commemorate Pre-Columbian history. DESCRIPTION:The second annual FREE event will take place on November 30th from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the tree lighting taking place at 6:00 p.m. \nYou won’t want to miss out on the events taking place all day at Christmas at Town Center leading up to the official tree lighting. Come take photos with with Santa and Mrs. Clause from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. \nTake the kiddos to participate in Reindeer Games and craft-making in the Turf Park. Get some gifts at the seasonal Christmas Market and make up for any missed Black Friday shopping. \nWatch special performances from the Bradshaw Mountain High School Bands and others. Eligibility:\n Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.\n Only attendees of the event are eligible to win; do not need to present to win.\n2. Raffle Tickets:\n Participants can purchase multiple raffle tickets.\n Print your name and phone number on each ticket and place in the bucket for the prize you would like to win\n3. Raffle Draw:\n The raffle draw will take place at 7:00pm.\n Winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible raffle tickets.\n Winners will be notified on Monday\, December 2nd by COB.\n4. Claiming Prizes:\n Winners that are contacted will be informed to pick up their prizes at an agreed upon date and time at our Main Office located at 3001 N. Main Street Suite 2B.\n If a prize is not claimed at that agreed upon time\, another raffle ticket will be randomly selected for a replacement winner.\n5.
