Arizona State Parks and Trails on Living a Good Life
Our next episode of Living a Good Life with our CEO, Brad Fain is out now! Neil Large, Digital Marketing Coordinator for Arizona State Parks and Trails joined our Podcast on Cast11 to discuss the benefits of outdoor activities, the parks and trails available in the greater Prescott region, and some fun upcoming events in our area.
Neil informed our host, Brad Fain, CEO of Fain Signature Group, of recreation opportunities in Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and more. Great day-trip locations include the Jerome State Historic Park featuring the rich copper mining history, Kartchner Caverns State Park highlighting cave tours, and Slide Rock State Park where you can join in on picking apples in the fall. Throughout the state of Arizona there is truly something for everyone!
He also went on to describe the stress relieving benefits that outdoor recreation has for Prescott Valley residents. Neil explained, “It’s scientifically proven that spending time outside will lower your heart rate and reduce stress levels, and you guys have so many quick escapes right here to do that. I’m a huge proponent for if you’re feeling a little stressed, get outside!”
If you’re wondering what outdoor activities are available in our area or want to try a new activity, you can find lots of great info, maps, and tips at AZStateParks.com. Some great website features that Neil brought to our attention include OHV maps, right of way trail tips, upcoming events, and more!
